TRY AGAIN; The Peter Story

Wow, what a great topic! Try again! Though I know it is not one of the favourites of the people particularly in this period. Lol. Stay calm, I got a treat for you.
I was studying my Bible this morning and I came across a passage about the Fisherman turned Apostle called Peter; the Peter story. It was fascinating and opened my eyes to a lot. Let's ride!

Gaunt and jaded, he sank to the ground in sorrow. He looked into the sky as if searching for the nebula in the brightness of the cool morning.
'what am I going to tell my family ' he thought. He tried to reminisce his wife telling him with hopeful eyes about the numerous bills at home and the children who have not eaten.
He had left home that night with faith and was hopeful for success. As he took hardy strides to the shore, he never knew what the lake had in store for him.
The singing birds distracted his sad thoughts. He raised up his head to look at his boat. Looking at his boat standing by the lake, moments of how he toiled all night came to memory. It was as if all the fishes of the sea had grew wings and flew out as he struggled fruitlessly for a catch.
He rose up from the earth and joined his friends to wash the fishing nets with his eyes filled with tears. Oh! What a painful situation. He barely saw the man on white as his tears blurred his vision.
"I need your boat", he said.
Without hesitation he took the man on white onboard the boat and pulled out a little from the land as the man on white spoke to the crowd that have gathered to hear him.
The man on white stopped speaking and said to Peter,
" Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch".
Peter laughed and remembered Sarah when she laughed after hearing she would bear a child in her old age. It is indeed amazing how laughter can express pain too.
"Try again!" Jesus reiterated.
We all know what happened next. Peter TRIED AGAIN and had a great catch.

We might have been in Peter's shoes. Finding ourselves in very hopeless situations, painful experiences that tend to act as stumbling blocks in our bid to achieve success. But no matter the situation don't give up, there is still hope. Keep trying!
No matter how life have kicked you all around. How failure might have seemed to be your second name, Jesus is saying "TRY AGAIN!".
